On October 1, 2016, the San Marcos High School Rattler Choir department took 41 young women to the first round of UIL competition and came home with 25 singers advancing to this coming Saturday’s Region competition — along with all of the Alto2’s and Tenors and Basses.
The 25 singers advancing include: Emma Reinhuber, Danielle Kessler, Chloe Espinoza, Lizette Beltran, Mariyan Sosa, Anna Reyes, Alicia Cruz, Gabrielle Garza, Kaela Steinbrenner, Sara Weaver, Haylee Kewish, Andrea Martinez, Lauren Newby, Kacie Rodriguez, Celena Parra, Bevra Williams, Bryanna Wharton, Nina Luna, Cierra Gonzales, Nicole Valdez, Rachel Heiser, Claudia Rocha, Mazzy Reyes, Sarah Storch, and Aleyiah Castro.
The choirs are directed by Dawn Sheridan-Reinhuber and Brigitte Smith.
