The closure was announced yesterday around 2:45 p.m.; San Marcos city officials said the activity center would reopen today originally.
The San Marcos Activity Center will be closed until noon on Friday for emergency water line repairs.
Crews are repairing the main water line going into the building, and the facility will have no access to water during the repairs. All groups who have reserved the Activity Center through Friday have been notified, and signs are posted at the doors.
