All Texas residents eligible for mass vaccination event at Texas State University

SAN MARCOS – All Texas residents age 16 and older are eligible for the mass COVID-19 vaccination event on Thursday, April 22 organized through a partnership between Texas State University and Hays County.

The event will run 9 a.m.-8 p.m. at the University Events Center on Texas State’s San Marcos Campus. County and university health officials expect to administer 6,000 initial doses of the Pfizer vaccine.

The event is free and open to all residents of Texas age 16 and up. Attendees do not have to be students, faculty or staff at Texas State to receive a vaccination. For more information, visit www.haysinformed.com.
