APD Seeking Help To Identify Bank Robbery Suspect

The Austin Police Department (APD) Robbery Unit is working in conjunction with the FBI Central Texas Robbery Task Force to investigate a bank robbery that occurred on Thursday, June 20, 2019 at 11:56 a.m.

The robbery suspect entered the Bank of America, displayed a weapon and demanded money from a teller. He fled the scene on foot.

Suspect described as:

  • Black male
  • 6’ 0” tall, medium build and short black hair
  • Approximately 215 lbs.
  • Approximately 30 years of age
  • Last seen wearing a gray t-shirt, jeans, khaki bucket hat and wearing a black backpack
