APD’s Community Policing Efforts Survey

The City of Austin is seeking community views on the Austin Police Department’s approaches to community policing and how they may be improved.

The short, confidential survey was developed to help understand concerns from residents and businesses about the availability and responsiveness of Police Department staff. Results will be used to identify improvement opportunities.

Deadline to complete the survey is May 9.

The survey was developed by the Matrix Consulting Group. Community meetings in each City Council district will be scheduled for additional input.

The final report from Matrix is scheduled to be presented to the City Council in late June or early July.

If you have any questions about the survey, contact Matrix Consulting Group Project Manager Richard Brady at 650-858-0507 or at rbrady@matrixcg.net.
