The warrant names Stewart Thomas Mettz (09/18/1966), who remains in an Austin hospital under medical care.

He has not yet been charged in the shooting death of Copeland who, along with other police officers, was serving a separate arrest warrant on Mettz at his home in the El Camino Real neighborhood Monday afternoon.
