The Austin Police Department (APD) is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a suspect involved in a bank robbery.
At 12:21 p.m., Tuesday, September 14, 2021, Austin 9-1-1 received a call regarding a robbery at the Chase Bank located at 2514 Guadalupe St.
The suspect had entered the bank and given a note to the teller demanding money. The bank teller gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of cash, and the suspect then ran out the back door.
The suspect was last seen walking northbound in the 2500 block of San Antonio Street.

Goodwill? -- Looks about right. I feel sad for him. He looks bothered by his actions. Maybe if Austin would stop hugging the hobos and deal with crime, this guy might have a better chance accessing assistance programs.

As a young man, I knew some legends living in the Pacific Northwest. Among them was a cowboy name of Joe Marsters known to have wrangled horses for Robert Leroy Parker, aka Butch Cassidy, and who said that because Butch had charisma and was well liked by everyone, he was helped and concealed by all who knew him. Said he last saw Butch in 1939, long after having allegedly been killed in south america. Joe said Butch wasn't ever bothered about what he did, he was bothered about having to do it. Moral, It goes a long way with folks when you're doing something they'd like to do, but can't, and you're popular doing it.
