APD Needs Your help locating Bank Robbery Suspect

Location:        Randolf Brooks Federal Credit Union, 315 W. Slaughter Ln.
 
Narrative:
On Saturday, July 9, 2016 at 3:30 p.m., a suspect entered the Randolf Brooks Federal Credit Union at 315 W. Slaughter Ln. and demanded money from the teller.
 
The suspect left the scene on foot heading eastbound on Slaughter Ln. with an undisclosed amount of cash. No weapon was displayed and no injuries were reported.

Suspect Description:

  • White male in his late teens or early 20s
  • Approximately 5’10” in height
  • Thin build
  • Medium-length, wavy, light brown hair

Last seen wearing:

  • Black shirt and shoes
  • Dark-colored shorts
  • Large white watch on left wrist

This case remains under investigation by APD Robbery detectives. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call the Robbery tip line at (512) 974-5092, Crime Stoppers at (512) 472-TIPS or text “Tip 103” + your message to CRIMES. You may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000 if your tip leads to an arrest or charges being filed. This is Austin’s 10th bank robbery of 2016.
