“The response from the San Marcos community has been fantastic,” said Cpl. Laray Taylor “We had a great start, we stayed ahead and we finished early.”

The San Marcos Police Blue Santa program has been delivering toys to children who might not otherwise have Christmas gifts in San Marcos since 1972. Each year, the Blue Santa program provides gifts to 300-400 families.

Toy pickup is will be at the Spring Center, 1104 Thorpe Ln. (the old Beall’s department store) and is scheduled for Friday, Dec. 16 from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Toy delivery is on Saturday, Dec. 17 from 8 a.m. – 12 p.m.
