BREAKING: Kyle Police Investigating Drive-By Shooting Fatality

Kyle Police are on the scene of what is being called a drive-by shooting that happened at about 3:50 p.m. Saturday. It happened in the 300 block of Discovery in Kyle.

 

According to Police Chief Jeff Barnett, a vehicle drove by slowly and fired several shots. At least one hit an 18-year-old named Natanaell Bardales of Kyle, though he does not reside at that location. Officers on scene observed an injury to the young man’s head.

 

The victim was transported to Brackenridge Hospital in Austin. He was pronounced dead at 4:46 p.m. Next of kin has been notified.

 

“Our investigators are following up on leads about the identity and location of the suspected shooter,” Barnett said. “We believe we have good information about his whereabouts.”
