A man was killed, Tuesday morning, when a 18-wheeler crashed and rolled over on southbound I-35.
Around 1:24 am, authorities responded to the crash at the Hays and Comal County line. Two Hazmat teams were required to cleanup a liquid spill caused by the accident.
According to police, no other vehicles were involved; the accident is being investigated by the Department of Public Safety.
The driver of the semi-truck, 58, was killed in the crash; officials have not released his name. Authorities do not know what caused the accident.
The crash has been cleared on I-35 and the southbound lanes reopened.
