BREAKING NEWS: Teenager Injured in Auto-Pedestrian Accident

A teenager is recovering today after he was hit by an SUV on the I-35 access road near Weatherford St last night.
 
 The San Marcos Police Department was notified of a young man running on the I-35 access road around 7 p.m. tonight. Officers were in route to the location when the young man was struck by a vehicle as he ran toward the interstate. 
 

 

The teenager was hurt, but his injuries are not expected to be life threatening.  He was transported by EMS to Austin Trauma Center.  The woman driving the SUV had minor injuries.
