Jackson Daniel Bell, 22 of Round Rock was arrested on July 27 and charged with 14 counts of Possession of Child Pornography, a third-degree felony. If convicted each charge carries a sentence of 2 – 10 years in prison and up to a $10k fine.
Texas State University has confirmed that Bell is a student, but is not taking summer classes, according to a KVUE report.
The arrest of Bell happened off campus and was due to a Texas State University Police investigation. Hays County Sheriffs office has declined to comment as it is an active investigation. Jail records indicate
