An attempted burglary occurred at the Vistas apartment complex Wednesday afternoon in San Marcos.
The resident came home to his door busted in and noises coming from inside. He found the suspect, who was described by witnesses as “around fifteen or sixteen”, attempting to climb down the balcony, into the pool area, where many apartments faced. However, the suspect lost their grip and fell.
According to a source inside the fire department, the suspect was alive after impact and “could not feel their legs”. They were life-flighted to Austin Brackenridge Medical Center. The extents and details of the suspects’ injuries are unknown at this time, but the San Marcos Corridor News will keep you up to date on this situatuion right here.
