Breaking: Two Lockhart Students Killed In Crash

Only two of the four victims involved in yesterday’s crash have been identified. 

Lockhart, Texas — A Lockhart High School student and her boyfriend were killed in a car accident Wednesday.

According to Lockhart Independent School District, a Lockhart high school senior, Lauren Garcia, and her boyfriend, a former student, Isaac Garcia, were killed in an accident on Farm to Market 672 Wednesday.

Lauren and Isaac are said to have been high school sweethearts.

The accident occurred around 8:57 pm in Caldwell County. The department of public safety said two vehicles were involved; four people were affected by the accident.

DPS has only confirmed the death of one of the victims. Only two of the four victims involved in yesterday’s crash have been identified.

Lockhart High School will have counselors available to students in Lauren’s classes and in the school library. More information will be available in time.
