Buda Announces Railroad Crossing At Main St. And West Goforth To Be Closed Today

On Tuesday, Feb. 19, the City of Buda announced the railroad crossing at Main St. and West Goforth will be closed on Wednesday, February 20, 2019, from approximately 8 AM to 6 PM.

The Texas Department of Transportation (Tx-DOT) and Union Pacific Railroad will be making repairs to the railroad crossing. Detour signs will be up, and drivers are advised to use the following detours.

Detour Northbound: Northbound traffic on S. Loop 4 (Main St./FM 967) will turn right onto Goforth and then left onto Cedar Street. Drivers will then turn left onto Houston before turning right back onto Main Street.

Detour Southbound: Southbound traffic on Main St will turn left onto Houston Street and then right onto Cedar Street. Drivers will then turn right onto Goforth before turning left on Main St. (S. Loop 4/FM 967) to continue southbound.
