Buda Issues Rabies Alert For Two Neighborhoods

The bat was untestable for rabies due to decomposition. However, as a precaution the state treats these types of cases as a positive rabies case.


On September 3, 2017, a dead bat was found in the 100 block of Joy Hollow at approximately 6:00 pm on the ground. The bat was untestable for rabies due to decomposition. However, as a precaution the state treats these types of cases as a positive rabies case.

On September 7, 2017, a dead bat was found in Bradfield Village in the 200 block of Faircrest Dr. at approximately 6:00 pm on the ground.
