Buda Launches Phone Bank For Citizen Needs During Winter Weather

BUDA, TX — The City of Buda has set up a phone bank for citizens to call and report needs associated with the severe winter weather.

This is for citizens to report things like frozen water pipes, extended power outages not related to the rolling blackouts of 12 hours or more, and other issues or needs related to the winter weather.

The City may have limited ability to provide direct assistance, but officials said they want to know what and where the needs are for residents. The City has limited ability to distribute bottled water to residences.

Please note, this number is for non-emergency needs. If residents are experiencing an emergency, please dial 9-1-1.

The phone bank number is 512-523-8900. The city will take calls from 8 AM to 6 PM Monday thru Friday. Residents are asked to leave a message after hours.
