Buda Lions Club Country Fair And Wiener Dog Races Will Cause Street Closures

“The Buda Lions have been a part of your community since 1975.  Our club is chartered through Lions Club International, which is the world’s largest service organization.” Lions Club Website

Street Closures: San Antonio Street will be closed to through traffic. Residents who live in the neighborhood WILL be allowed in.

There are no other street closures, but keep in mind there will be a significant amount of traffic congestion around City Park. 

For safety reasons, there will be no left turns from Main Street on to Garison Road and no left turns from Garison Road on to Main Street from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on both Saturday, April 29th and Sunday, April 30th.

Parking:  There will be two parking areas for event attendees.

  • Free parking will be provided at the north end of the City Park area. The parking area will be accessed by way of Garison Road.
  • Free parking will be offered at the Cabela’s north parking area, east of the Buda Post Office. Free Shuttle service to and from the Cabela’s parking area will be provided.
