The Buda Public Library and students of Texas State University in the Recreation Administration program have partnered together to host an expense-free International Games Day on Saturday, November 10, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
The event will feature games from all over the world including Mancala, which originated in Israel, Pictionary invented by Robert Angel in Seattle, Sorry!, which originated in England, and many more new games like Qwixx by GameWright.
As a part of International Games Week, International Games Day is being hosted for families to enjoy quality time playing games with each other, to promote sportsmanship for all and encourage social interaction across age spectrums. Texas State University students will be engaged in leading games and encouraging positive experiences for all that play.
“The Buda Public Library and students of Texas State University are looking forward to seeing your family at International Games Day. Our goal for this event is to establish a positive activity for your family and maybe even find a new favorite game for family night.”
