Buda Seeks Feedback On Joining Dark Sky Community

The City of Buda is interested in becoming an International Dark Sky Community. Dark Sky is a program that is administered and maintained by the International Dark-Sky Association.

They are a nonprofit organization that seeks to preserve the night sky by promoting responsible outdoor lighting.

They educate the public and policymakers about the importance of preserving the night sky.

Dark Sky is more than seeing the stars, it’s fighting light pollution for the betterment of our environment, our health, and our energy consumption.

The City of Buda says they would love to know how you feel about becoming an International Dark Sky Community. Residents are invited to fill out this short survey.
