Buda seeks participants for Buda Trash-Off

BUDA — Celebrate Earth Day early this year and participate in the Buda Trash-Off event 8:30 a.m. – 11 a.m. Saturday, April 9 at the Buda City Park & Amphitheater located at 204 San Antonio Street. This “budaful” event will commence at the Buda City Park pavilion, where organizers will coordinate teams that will go to designated locations throughout the City to pick up litter to help “budafy” the community!
 
Gather your family, team, or come as an individual and get ready to help clean up Buda! Participants may register as individuals or groups and may select their preferred areas for collecting litter. Those who pre-register before March 11 are guaranteed t-shirts.
 
Individuals who are interested in participating in the Buda Trash-Off can find more information and register to participate by visiting the City’s website at www.ci.buda.tx.us/budatrashoff.
 
The local event, hosted by the City of Buda, the Buda Parks and Recreation Commission, and the Buda Sustainability Commission, will also have sponsorship opportunities to support event costs. Sponsors will be recognized at the event, and their company logo will be added to the event t-shirt.
