Buda to offer fall concert series at the Buda Amphitheater

Staff Reports

BUDA – The City of Buda’s Parks and Recreation Department announced a Fall Concert Series to be held at the Buda Amphitheater in City Park during November. The concerts are free and open to the public.

The first band performance in the series will be The Peterson Brothers, an Austin-born band that combines modern grooves with jazz, funk, blues and soul. The Peterson Brothers are scheduled to perform 4-6 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 6.

The next band to perform will be Shinyribs, another Austin-based band. This nine-member group that blends Texas blues, New Orleans R&B funk, horn-driven Memphis soul, country twang, border music, big band swing, and roots-rock will play 3-5 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 20, also at the Buda Amphitheater in City Park.

“We are excited to host this live concert series for the community to enjoy in our new amphitheater,” Director of Parks and Recreations Greg Omler said. “We hope to be able to host more artists in the future and give our community a way to enjoy the outdoors while also enjoying live music.”
