Buda Trail Of Lights At Stagecoach Park To Kick Off First Weekend

The Trail of Lights is a free holiday event that features lighted and decorated displays that are provided by local businesses and organizations.

The City of Buda will open the Buda Trail of Lights for its first weekend of the holiday season this weekend.

The even will be open for three weekends this year starting December 6. Seniors are invited to welcome the event with senior night on Thursday, December from 6 PM to 9 PM.

The Trail of Lights is a free holiday event that features lighted and decorated displays that are provided by local businesses and organizations. Visitors are able to walk the lighted trail in the park to view the dazzling exhibits, sip hot chocolate and meet Santa himself. This year the City of Buda has added an extra weekend from Dec. 21 – 23.

Hours: 6 pm – 10 pm (with the exception of Senior Night on December 6, which is 6 pm – 9 pm)

Parking at Cabela’s: Parking is at Cabela’s and we will shuttle you to Stagecoach Park.

For those who are handicapped, or can’t walk long distances, there will be golf carts available. A volunteer will drive you along the trail. Visitors do not need to make accommodations ahead of time. If an individual wants to use a wheelchair on the trail, they can.

Visitors are advised that it is a granite trail and is a mile and a half long. The path is 10 feet wide. If attendees have additional questions regarding handicap service, please call the Buda Parks and Recreation Director Greg Olmer at 512-523-1068.

Weekend 2:
Friday, December 14 – 6 pm – 10 pm
Saturday, December 15 – 6 pm – 10 pm
Sunday, December 16 – 6 pm – 10 pm

Weekend 3:
Friday, December 21 – 6 pm – 10 pm
Saturday, December 22 – 6 pm – 10 pm
Sunday, December 23 – 6 pm – 10 pm
