Buda’s Sold And Active Listings For September

Four Rivers Association of REALTORS® releases real estate statistics for September 2016

 

The Four Rivers Association of REALTORS® has recently released their market report for September 2016 and Buda’s market is strong. The median home price for the month of September was $269900, up slightly by 4% YOY. 

 

The number of homes sold and active listings increased in September. The number of sold listings increased by 15.6%, compared to this time last year, to 37 listings closing last month. Additionally, active listings in Buda increased a whopping 29.2% year-over-year to 93 listings in September 2016. 

 

In September 2016, the available housing inventory* in Buda increased by .3 months over September 2015 to 2.7 months. The Texas A&M Real Estate Center says that anything below 6.5% is considered a seller’s market.

 

Homes in Buda spent an average of 42 days on the market, 1 day more than September 2015. This is a strong indicator that the market in Buda is extremely active and fast-paced.

  • 37 – Homes sold, 15.6 percent increase YOY
  • $269900 – Median price, 4 percent increase YOY
  • 2.7 – Monthly housing inventory, .3 months more YOY
  • 42 – Average number of days homes spent on the market, 1 day more YOY
  • 93 – Active listings, 29.2 percent increase YOY
