Builder Expands In La Cima Development

Wilshire Homes announced it is expanding its inventory in La Cima San Marcos to offer 70-foot homesites.

The expansion is accompanied by the debut of an additional seven new floor plans designed for the larger lots.

“We have found there is pent-up demand for both larger homes and larger properties in this area,” said Alex Dadidakis, Central Texas division president for McGuyer Homebuilders, Inc. (MHI), parent company of Wilshire Homes. “We’ve seen people who are downsizing from acreage homes to cut down on the excessive yard maintenance but still want a larger home and yard. Others are wanting more space inside and out for their growing families.”

The new floor plans have been added to the builder’s current selection for 60- and 50-foot homesites.

Located along the Interstate 35 corridor five minutes west of San Marcos, La Cima offers residents abundant amenities, including a splash pad and playscape that are now open and a recreation center, fitness room, eight-lane junior Olympic pool, a family pool, adult pool and sports recreation fields slated to open next year.

The community’s Central Park encompasses more than 45 acres and the development boasts 800 acres of open space and parkland. Students attend schools within the San Marcos Consolidated Independent School District.
