CAMPO 2017-2020 TIP Open House Meetings

The Capital Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (CAMPO) invites the public to attend an open house and give feedback on the 2017-2020 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP). The TIP is CAMPO’s short-range planning document that details transportation activities that will begin construction or implementation in the four year window of the TIP document.

Regional agencies and governments submit projects to CAMPO for inclusion in the TIP because any project requesting federal transportation funds must be included in the TIP before they can move towards implementation. The local government that submits a project for inclusion in the TIP must be able to demonstrate that funding is available to support the activity. The projects go through a scoring process using objective criteria and then are approved for inclusion in the TIP by the Transportation Policy Board.

Open house meetings will take place throughout the CAMPO region and provide an opportunity for the community to learn more about road, transit, and bike and pedestrian projects submitted for the 2017-2020 TIP. The meetings are a come-and-go format so the public can attend at their convenience between 4-7 p.m. Open houses will be held:
