CAMPO Invites Public To Open House Meetings On New Regional Walking, Biking Plans

The open house is a come-and-go format so you can attend at your convenience. There will be no formal presentation. All open houses are 4-7 pm unless indicated. Kids activities will be available.

The Capital Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (CAMPO) invites you to an open house to learn more and comment on the six-county regional walking and biking plan (Regional Active Transportation Plan) and amendments to CAMPO’s long and short-range planning documents.

Bastrop County 

  • August 22, Smithville Library, 507 Main St., Smithville
  • August 30, ACC Elgin Campus  (Active transportation only) This meeting is 2-7 pm. 

Burnet County

  •  August 29, Marble Falls Library, 101 Main St., Marble Falls

Caldwell County 

  • August 24, Dr. Eugene Clark Library, 217 S Main St., Lockhart

Hays County

  • August 21, San Marcos Library,  625 E. Hopkins, San Marcos
  • August 31, Wimberley Community Center, 14068 Ranch Rd. 12, Wimberley (Active transportation only)

Travis County

  • September 7, Hampton Branch Library, 5125 Convict Hill Rd., Austin
  • September 12, Huston Tillotson University. 900 Chicón St., Austin.  Free parking is available on Chalmers Ave. on the west side of campus. This meeting is 2-7 pm.
  • September 15, Texas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired.  (Active transportation only) This meeting is 10 am – 2 pm.

Williamson County

  • August 23, Taylor City Hall, 400 Porter St. Taylor (Active transportation only)
  • September 6, Cedar Park Library, 550 Discovery Blvd., Cedar Park
