Report Writing
This course reinforces the skills and techniques of thorough and professional police report writing. Students will learn about articulating the accurate probable cause which led them to a legal arrest and reporting a criminal activity to help secure a conviction of the suspect or suspects who perpetrated the crime.
Students will participate in role playing situations which will require them to produce a precise and correct police report.

Intermediate Arrest, Search and Seizure
This course teaches officers about using probable cause, seeking and preparing search warrants, and detaining and arresting individuals. The intermediate arrest, search, and seizure course educates officers about the criminal court process and the possibility of civil liability. Juvenile justice procedures regarding the topics also are discussed during this course.

State and Federal Law Update
This class instructs law enforcement officers in the changes and updates to the law as occurred during the 83rd Legislative Session of the Texas Congress. This class is mandatory for peace officers.
