Capital Excavation to begin construction on Cypress Creek Bridge

Wimberley, TX, June 25, 2021- Capital Excavation will begin construction on Ranch Road 12 at the Cypress Creek bridge in downtown Wimberley on Tuesday, June 29th, in preparation to attach the wastewater force main line to the bridge. The hangers and pipe are set to be attached on July 6th.

Eastbound traffic on RR 12 will shift to the center turn lane at the bridge in order to maintain one-lane traffic flow in each direction on Monday-Friday from 7:00 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. The sidewalk on the south side of the bridge will be closed during this timeframe as well.

The construction is anticipated to be completed by the week of July 12th and the opening of the lane and sidewalk will follow.
