AUSTIN, Texas – May 10, 2018 – CBRE arranged a new lease for Amy’s Ice Creams on behalf of the landlord in East Austin at 2002 Manor Road. Amy’s Ice Creams, the Austin based, artisan ice cream brand, will be taking this endcap space and plans to open doors this Fall.

Bryan McMurrey, with CBRE’s Austin office, represented the landlord. Steve and Amy Simmons of Amy’s Ice Creams represented themselves in the transaction.

“Amy’s homed in on this vibrant, active area for their newest location. With neighbors like Hoover’s Home Cooking, Mi Madre’s, Salty Sow, and Eastside Café, this end cap space seemed like an ideal fit for a beloved Austin staple like Amy’s,” said McMurrey.

“We think Amy’s is going to be a great addition to our tenant mix at 2002 Manor and contribute to the continued emergence of Manor Rd. retail and entertainment scene,” said the landlord.

Amy’s Ice Creams has been an Austin sweet treat since they first opened in 1984. Today they have 15 total locations with stores now in both the Houston and San Antonio markets as well. The Manor location will be Amy’s thirteenth Austin store.

“Since our founding, Amy’s and Austin have grown up together in a lot of ways. We are excited to be opening our doors in such an entrepreneurial hotspot. This area of Austin provides a great sense of community and synergy between local businesses, and we are excited to be a part of that,” said Amy Simmons, founder of Amy’s Ice Creams.
