CDBG 2016 Action Plan Available For Comment In July

Community Development Block Grant

 

The City of San Marcos Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) 2016 Action Plan Draft will be available for citizen review and comment beginning Friday, July 8, 2016 at 8 a.m. through Monday, Aug. 8, 2016 at 5 p.m.

 

Copies of the Action Plan will be available at the San Marcos Public Library, City Hall, and the City Main Street office located at 317 N. LBJ Drive.  For assistance in obtaining a copy or for more information, please call Janis Hendrix at 512.393.8147.

 

A copy of the draft will also be placed on the City’s website at www.sanmarcostx.gov/CDBG.

 

The Action Plan describes the programs and activities that will be undertaken using the City’s 2016 CDBG entitlement allocation of $525,164 to address the priority needs and specific objectives identified in the 2015-2019 Consolidated Plan. The Action Plan includes a narrative description, service area maps, applicable certifications, and documentation of public outreach and council action.

 

Comments must be made in writing and should include the sender’s full name and physical address.  Comments may be sent electronically to jhendrix@sanmarcostx.gov or to City of San Marcos, Attention: Janis Hendrix, 630 E. Hopkins, San Marcos, Texas, 78666.  All comments will be included in the final Action Plan.
