Celebrate Mother’s Day With LBJ Museum Wine Baskets

The museum also has established an endowment fund honoring Lady Bird Johnson and her contributions to his career and to the nation.

Area residents have until April 30 to order a special Mother’s Day Wine Basket honoring Lady Bird Johnson featuring specialty wines from the Hahne Estate Winery and sponsored by the LBJ Museum of San Marcos.

The gifts baskets may be ordered online at www.lbjmuseum.com or at the museum, 131 N. Guadalupe Street, San Marcos during visiting hours Thursday-Saturday, from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Purchasers are asked to designate a pick up time on May 11 to 13 between, 10 a.m.-6 p.m.

The First Lady Basket ($75) features two bottles of  Hahne Estates Winery’s Texas Tapestry signature wine plus two long stem Hahne Estates Winery wine glasses, two Claudia Taylor “Lady Bird” Johnson stemless wine glasses, two wildflower seed packets, and one cork screw.

The Wildflower Basket ($50) includes one bottle of Hahne Estates Winery’s Texas Tapestry wine, two Claudia Taylor “Lady Bird” Johnson stemless wine glasses, two wildflower seed packets, and one cork screw.

Located in Johnson City, Texas, the Hahne Estates Winery celebrates more than a century of connection and friendship with President Lyndon Baines Johnson and his family.

The LBJ Museum of San Marcos, located on the historic downtown square, honors President Johnson’s formative years in college in San Marcos and his achievements as president. The museum also has established an endowment fund honoring Lady Bird Johnson and her contributions to his career and to the nation.
