Celebrating At LBJ Bash At Texas Old Town

Gary Job Corps Business Community Liaison Randolph Goodman visited with Congressman Lloyd Doggett at the LBJ Birthday Bash held at Texas Old Town in Kyle, Texas.  Hays County Democrats sponsored the event with live music and food, many local resident enjoyed the fellowship.  Congressman Doggett has been a staunch supporter of the Gary Job Corps Center and is a member of the Friends of Job Corps Caucus.  Goodman stated that “ there are  36 Congressmen and women that represent the State of Texas and 14 of them are members of the Friends of Job Corps Congressional Caucus ( Congressmen, Joaquin Castro, Henry Cuellar, Lloyd Doggett, Al Green, Gene Green, Ruben Hinojosa, Beto O’Rourke, Pete Sessions, Lamar Smith, Marc Veasey, Filemon Vela, Roger Williams, Congresswomen; Sheila Jackson Lee, and Eddie Bernice Johnson) showing a commitment to the youth of Texas and the training of our future workforce.  Congressman Doggett has always availed himself to speaking to students and supportive of legislative issues concerning the Job Corps on the national level.
