Including the cities of Llano, Burnet, Georgetown, Rocksprings, Leakey, Kerrville, Bandera, Fredericksburg, Boerne, Blanco, San Marcos, Austin, Bastrop, Giddings, San Antonio, New Braunfels, Seguin, and Lockhart
* WHAT…Freezing rain is expected. Total ice accumulations of a light glaze on elevated surfaces.
* WHERE…Portions of south-central Texas north of line from Carta Valley to Leon Springs to Giddings.
* WHEN…Until noon CST Thursday.
* IMPACTS…Very slippery overpasses, bridges, and elevated walkways are possible. The hazardous conditions could impact the evening or morning commute.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Light icing will be possible on elevated surfaces mainly tonight but could begin this afternoon in the northern part of the advisory area. Frozen precipitation is not expected in San Antonio, but is possible in the northern part of Bexar County.
