EVENT: Finding Balance class for seniors
DATE: July 15
TIME: 2:00 – 3:00 p.m.
LOCATION: San Marcos Activity Center – 501 E. Hopkins St., San Marcos, TX
DESCRIPTION: “Finding Balance” is an exercise class designed to help individuals 60 and older to strengthen their balance, which improves safety by decreasing the risk of falls. Added benefits include an improved confidence, enhanced strength and flexibility, a boosted immune system and a maintained or increased level of mobility. People of all activity levels are encouraged to attend.

EVENT: Summer Botox Party
DATE: July 17

LOCATION: Embassy Suites Spa Botanica, 1001 E. McCarty Lane
DESCRIPTION: Dr. Pradeep Mohan will provide discounted Botox treatments during this spectacular spa day. The event will include appetizers, wine and door prizes. EVENT: BabyFest

LOCATION: CTMC Main Lobby: 1301 Wonder World Drive, San Marcos
DESCRIPTION: Whether you’re a new mom, expecting or simply considering pregnancy this year, Central Texas Medical Center’s (CTMC) 6th annual BabyFest is a great way to become familiar with the latest in products and services for moms and babies. The event will feature mini-tours of the Women’s Center and CTMC’s Honeysuckle Mommy Baby Boutique. There will also be refreshments, fun activities for dads and children, great door prizes and dozens of booths featuring products and services for new parents, moms-to-be and their babies.
Additional highlights of BabyFest include networking opportunities with area new moms and moms-to-be, baby boutiques, eco-friendly products, nutritional options for moms and babies, information on vaccinations and safety, representatives from obstetrics, pediatric physicians who practice at CTMC and more.
