On Monday, Dec. 21, the Chief’s Advisory Panel will hold a public meeting at the San Marcos Activity Center.
Members of the panels are slated to discuss local responses to the George Floyd Incident, what comprehensive police reform looks like, building legitimacy and trust through procedural justice and its four tenets.
Panelists will also discuss how the chief’s advisory panel identify blind spots in professional policing and forging a path ahead and give a cite and release update.

The panel will convene at 6:00 PM and will not be recorded. However, according to officials, the meeting minutes will be available.
