Knew that was going to happen. All you had to do was look at their handling of anything enjoyable (that doesn't bring in massive amounts of tax dollars).
Just look at the playgrounds. The Parks & Rec website says all the parks are open. The only exception is the playground & parking lot at Children's Park for "construction." Yet every single playgound still has plastic fencing around it. All the the basketball goals hoops are still down.
The City is lying to us. Watch the videos. Councilman Derrick has that deer in the headlights look and is frozen with COVID fear. Baker is more worried about the homeless and forcing businesses to comply. And Joca is still getting paid for some inexplicable reason. They don't want to reopen. They just can't afford to keep the bars closed.
