A National Weather Service Winter Storm Warning remains in effect from midnight tonight until 6 p.m. Tuesday.
The City of Austin government facilities will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday, Jan 16. This includes Austin Municipal Courts and the Downtown Austin Community Court.
The public should avoid traveling unless absolutely necessary. Morning commuters should be alert for work crews and service trucks performing preventative measures on area roads.
Residents should expect slick conditions on hard surfaces, such as porches, driveways, and sidewalks.
