The City of Buda recognizes employees and some major accomplishments in 2017.

“As we begin the new year, we wanted to recognize of our employee accomplishments in 2017. The City of Buda has some very talented and hard-working employees,” said Buda’s Public Information officer, David Marino.

2017 Employee of the Year

Buda Police Chief Bo Kidd was named Employee of the Year for 2017. Kidd has served as Chief of the Buda Police Department since it was founded on Oct. 20, 2010.  The department has continued to grow under Chief Kidd’s lead. In December, the police department moved into its new Public Safety Building at 405 E. Loop, Building 200. Chief Kidd and his department were instrumental in making sure the move went smoothly.

“We also want to recognize the following employees for their many years of service to the City,” said Marino.
