The City of Buda declared stage 2 water restrictions on Friday, August 10. The new restrictions will go into effect on Monday, August 13. A list of the stage 2 restrictions is listed below.
Outdoor Irrigation (Automatic and Hand Hose End Sprinkler Systems)
Irrigation with Handheld Bucket, Handheld Hose or Drip Irrigation System
Irrigation of Vegetable Gardens with a Handheld Bucket, Handheld Hose, Soaker Hose or Drip Irrigation System
Irrigation of Protected Trees by a Soaker Hose, Automatic Bubbler, Tree Watering Bag, or Similar Device Placed Within a Tree’s Dripline
Swimming Pools
Aesthetic Water Features
Washing of Impervious Surfaces
Vehicle Washing
Violations
Anyone who violates this ordinance could be fined between $100 and $500 and be subject to utility surcharges.
