City Of Buda Opens Boards, Commissions Application Submissions

The Buda City Council is accepting completed application forms from City of Buda citizens interested in serving on one of our various Boards and Commissions.

Several of our boards and commissions accept residents living in the ETJ. Deadline to submit a completed application is March 31, 2019.

The following boards have openings coming up in April 2019:

Construction Board of Appeals                   2 Openings (5 city residents; 2 from ETJ)
Dupre Local Government Corporation        5 Openings (3 city residents; 2 from ETJ)
Economic Development Corporation          3 Openings (city residents or Hays County)
Historic Preservation Commission              6 Openings (5 city residents; 2 from ETJ)
Library Commission                                    4 Openings (5 city residents; 2 from ETJ)
Main Street Advisory Board                        4 Openings (3 own/operate business w/in city)
Parks & Recreation Commission                3 Openings (5 city residents; 2 from ETJ)
Planning & Zoning                                      3 Openings  (5 city residents;2 from ETJ)
Sustainability  Commission                         3 Openings (5 city residents; 2 from ETJ)
Zoning Board of Adjustment                       4 Openings (5 city residents; 2 from ETJ)
Senior Task Force on Aging                        4 Openings (city residents or ETJ)

Application forms may be picked up at City Hall, 405 E. Loop St., Buda, during normal business hours, Monday through Thursday 8:00 pm – 5:00 pm, and on Fridays from 8:00 am – 4:00 pm.
