City Of San Marcos Employees Get Drenched On Their Way To Work Friday

On Friday, August 23 at 7 AM, City of San Marcos staff members participated in the fifth annual Float-to-Work day. Dressed in their work attire, staff members floated from Sewell Park to Rio Vista Park with coffee in hand.

“It’s one way to promote alternative forms of transportation. A lot of us rode our bikes here or even walked. It’s just something fun for us to do,” said City of San Marcos Planner Tory Carpenter.

Staff members wrapped up their morning float around 8 AM, just in time to change clothes and get to work.
