The City has contracted with Whittaker Lane Contracting LLC for the removal of a large water tank and pump house located on Midway Street, between Alto and Perkins in the Southwest Hills neighborhood.
The tank provided water for the neighborhood from the late 1960’s until the mid-1980’s when the City installed an 8-inch waterline in the area.
Contractors will remove the existing tank, foundation, pump house and fencing. Demolition is expected to begin today and be complete by mid-summer.
