City Of San Marcos To Host Open House For Historic Resources Survey

The City is conducting a survey to identify and document historic-age resources (50 years of age and older) and develop recommendations to help the City make decisions about historic resources for future planning and development initiatives.

The City of San Marcos Planning and Development Services Department will hold an open house introducing the City’s historic resources survey, My Historic SMTX, Thursday, Nov. 8 from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. at the Price Center, 222 W. San Antonio Street.

During the open house staff and consultants will present details about the project and provide opportunities for citizens to share stories and information about historic buildings and places in San Marcos.

Presentations will be given at 6 p.m. and 7 p.m., and planning staff and consultants will be available to answer questions and discuss the project.
