City Publishes Road Closure Maps For Spring Festival 2017

A reminder the Austin Center for Events will provide an overview of the City’s Spring Festival 2017 operations in a news conference on Wednesday, March 8 at 10:30 a.m. in the City Hall News Conference Room 1034.

A comprehensive list of road closures in the downtown area for Spring Festival Season 2017, including the South by Southwest Conference and Festivals (SXSW), is now available for viewing and download on austintexas.gov/citystage.

Closures will begin as early as 3 a.m. Friday, March 10 and remain in effect until 3 a.m. March 20. Maps for designated passenger pickup/drop-off points and pedicab routes are also available for viewing and download.

Austin residents and visitors are encouraged to use mass transit or other transportation options to avoid traffic delays in the downtown area during Spring Festival Season. Capital Metro will operate extended hours beginning March 10 visit capmetro.org for more details.
