Clear The Clutter For The Have A Heart Thrift Shop

SAN MARCOS, TEXAS – What did you find buried in the closet while pulling out the holiday decorations? Preloved treasures you’re ready to part with?

Central Texas Medical Center Hospice Care is hosting a “Clear the Clutter Before Christmas” donation drive to benefit the Have a Heart Thrift Store throughout the month of December.

Community members can drop off donations at the Have a Heart Thrift Store (1313 IH 35 N, San Marcos, Texas) Monday and Thursday 9 AM to 1 PM and Tuesday and Wednesday 9 AM to 4 PM.

Donations may also be dropped off in the CTMC Hospice Care main office during normal business hours. Tax-deductible receipts will be available upon request.

“The Have a Heart Thrift Store not only helps us to offer the best care to our patients and their families but the community as well,” said Allison Hardy, Director of CTMC Hospice Care. “The funds raised from sales allow the Family Grief Center to continually offer free services and support to anyone in our community.”

Proceeds from the Have a Heart Thrift Store go directly to CTMC Hospice Care’s Family Grief Center, which provides a safe and comfortable environment to work through and express the feelings associated with losing a loved one.

The Family Grief Center offers support groups, as well as individual and family counseling, not only to hospice patients’ families, but also the community at no cost.
