UPDATED WEDNESDAY AT 4:52 AM: Most Government And School Districts Will Have A Two Hour Delay

With the wintry weather warnings across Central Texas, several government, municipalities, school districts and additional services to close for the day.

With the wintry weather warnings across Central Texas, several government, municipalities, school districts and additional services to close for the day.

Here is a combined list that was available at this time.

Local School Closures

  • San Marcos CISD campuses and offices will be on a two-hour delay, tomorrow, Jan. 17. Bus schedules will also be on a two-hour delay.
  • Hays CISD schools and offices are operating on a 2-hour delay on Wednesday, January 17, 2018
    ° All campuses will begin two hours from their normal start times
    ° All buses will arrive two hours from their normal arrival times
    ° All morning activities are canceled
    °All pre-K, both AM and PM, are canceled
    °All special education programs less than four hours long are canceled
    ° Schools will dismiss at normal times
  • San Marcos Academy is on a two hour delay Wednesday.
  • Texas State University classes will resume at 10 AM.
  • UT-Austin classes on a two hour delay.
  • Austin Community College (ACC) classes resume at 10AM.
  • Wimberley ISD will operate on a two hour delay tomorrow.
  • Dripping Springs ISD will operate on a two hour delay tomorrow.
  • New Braunfels ISD (offices & schools) will resume normal schedule Wednesday.

Hays County Closures

All Hays County offices will open at 8 a.m. Wednesday, January 17.

Jurors should report on Wed., Jan. 17.

Travis County Closures 

Travis County Offices will be on a two hour delay.

City of San Marcos

All City of San Marcos offices will be open tomorrow a 8 a.m. for normal business hours.

City Council has been rescheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 30.

 

City of Austin

All City of Austin offices offices and facilities will open at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2018. This includes Austin Municipal Courts and the Downtown Austin Community Court.

City of Buda

All City of Buda offices will be on a two hour delay.

City of Kyle

The City of Kyle offices will be on a normal schedule on Wednesday.

City of Dripping Springs

Dripping Springs City Hall and offices will be on a two hour delay.

The city council meeting scheduled for 6 p.m. has been canceled and will be rescheduled.

Dripping Springs Farmers Market scheduled for 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. has been canceled.

City of Wimberley

The Wimberley City Council meeting canceled, will be re-scheduled (future date not set as of yet).

Currently no word on Wimberley city office on hours and schedule.

City of New Braunfels

City of New Braunfels  offices, facilities and services are scheduled to be open for business as usual on Wednesday, January 17th.

New Braunfels ISD‘s all offices and schools closed for Tuesday.

Texas Disposal Systems

Texas Disposal Systems service will resume as normal. If your trash was missed yesterday, they plan on trying to get to you on Wednesday.

Crystal Clear Water

CCWC offices will have normal business hours on Wednesday.
