Commissioners To Discuss Positions, Duties And More In The Hays County Judge’s Office

Staff Reports

The Hays County Commissioners Court is slated for discussion and possible action to “discuss positions in the County Judge’s Office.”

After last week’s decision to move a position out of the Hays County Judge’s office, the commissioners will meet in executive session to consult with counsel and deliberate regarding employment and duties of the Hays County Chief of Staff.

For more information on last week’s discussion, review the Hays County Commissioners Court September 17’s meeting; the conversation took place during the public hearing on the Fiscal Year 2020 budget (Timestamp approximately 2:20:00).

Possible action could follow the discussion in open court.

Commissioners will also discuss and consider possible action regarding positions, duties, responsibilities and regrades for the Hays County Judge’s office according to the agenda.

More information is expected to be provided in open court. Hays County Commissioners Court convenes at 9 AM on the 3rd floor of the Historic Courthouse in downtown San Marcos.

All meetings are open to the public.
