Corridor News Gives You A Sneak Peek Of ‘The Spot’

By Ashley LeBlanc

Tuesday afternoon The SPOT was kind enough to give Corridor News a sneak peek of their new establishment.

Set to open on October 14, they are prepped for the opening day crowd.

When you walk in, you can immediately tell that the place will attract a classy crowd. Behind the welcome desk is a wraparound bar that can seat more than 30 people.

In the same area, there is room for walk-in dining for lunch and dinner crowds. We had the privilege of trying a few of the appetizers, entrees, and cocktails.

The SPOT also has a unique 6 screen theater. With extravagant comfort for a reasonable price, the theater has recliner chairs and full service to their food menu, 100+ taps, and cocktail menu.

For students, seniors, and police officers the theater will offer a special price of $7.00 per ticket. All other tickets will be $9.00 online and $10.00 at the box office.

The bowling alley has 6 lanes with futuristic technology that creates the ultimate bowling experience.

With the touch screen computer you can enter your players and settings at the hourly prices shown in the picture above.

The bowling area has themed lighting and three large screens that showcase music videos.

The space also features event rooms with iconic features.

The event room behind the bowling alley hosts a sign that hopes to be as iconic as the ‘I love You So Much’ spray painted wall in Austin, TX.

The last but most historically entertaining aspect of The SPOT is the arcade room.

They plan to have the games for 50 cents apiece and free on Wednesdays. The arcade room has many popular arcade games.

The arcade rooms has a large garage style door that opens up into the patio breezeway.

With all of these unique features The SPOT is sure to be a hit they plan to open for normal hours starting Friday October 14 at 11:00AM.
